Best Kindle Unlimited Romance Novels I Read In January
1. Because I Want You by Claire Contreras
Claire has QUICKLY become one of our favourite authors on the Kindle app. Seriously, we are in absolute awe with her stories and how GOOD THEY ARE. Because I Want You was everything we wanted and more. Looking for your next kindle unlimited romance read? Well, here it is. Dom and Roselyn’s story is gratifying, dark, steamy, and delicious. The “brother’s ex” storyline gets us every time… and pair that with the mafia suspense? Total hit. Dominic De Luca is everything we wanted in our main character. Alpha, protective, intense, but still head over heels for Roselyn (and not afraid to show it). There’s also this strong brotherhood between him and the other Sins & Deceit main characters. Their strong, witty, loyal and intense demeanours give off great dialogue.
Because I Want You was our first taste of Claire Contreras and it honestly had us craving more. We quickly ran through the other books in this series (which we suggest starting with book #1 first) because we just couldn’t get enough! Check out
2. Because You’re Mine by Claire Contreras,
3. Because I Need You by Claire Contreras,
4. Because I’m Yours by Claire Contreras.
5. Until August by Emery Rose
Once again, we started in the middle of a book series without realizing it. We do this a lot, but you have to know that we tend to get drawn to a certain storyline and determine from there if we would like the other characters in the series. Safe to say, Emery Rose absolutely hooked us with Until August.
August and Nicola’s story was truly beautiful- a right-person-wrong-time type of romance. When August gets out of prison after losing his way, he finds his life isn’t at all where he left it. Nicola finds herself in need of a sous-chef and her prayers are answered when a hot-as-hell tattooed chef appears in her restaurant. Until August is a friends-to-lovers whirlwind romance. Full of loss and heartbreak, comes a story of second chances, love at first sight, and redemption.
6. Wilder Love by Emery Rose
7. Sweet Chaos by Emery Rose
8. Heartless by Elsie Silver
After reading Elsie’s first book in this series, we knew every single story after Flawless would be a huge hit. And Cade Eaton? Did NOT disappoint. If you’re a single-dad-nanny romance lover, Heartless is going to be your new favourite read.
Cade and Willa’s love story was a whirlwind. It was beautiful, heartbreaking, and hilarious. Both main characters were beautifully written, their personalities unmatched. Elsie knows how to write/pick them!!! If you read her previous book Flawless in this series, you’ll also get to see Summer and Rhett and their love story extend further. The whole Eaton family is swoon worthy, so you definitely won’t want to miss it. We’re just waiting for her next novel, Powerless!
9. Mile High by Liz Tomforde
Liz Tomforde absolutely hooked us with this one! We JUST added her second novel in the Windy City Series, The Right Move, to our kindle library. Zanders and Stevie were one hot couple, we loved their chemistry right off the bat. Bad boy hot-shot Evan Zanders is what all the girls drool over, but what he doesn’t expect is how unamused and unaffected the new flight attendant is over his charm. Mile High is jam-packed with one hot and heavy romance we couldn’t get enough of. We loved both characters so much, we cannot get enough of them!
10. Broody Devil by Melissa Ivers
Rhett and Lucy captured our attention within seconds of opening the Broody Devil. We LOVE enemies to lovers storylines! An accidental marriage, a fake relationship, and a whole lot of desire. The sparks that fly between these two, is indescribable. Rhett’s bad boy image/persona is greatly shook by Lucy and all of her glory. If you love the classic bad boy loves good girl trope, then you’ll swoon over this one. Trust us, it’s too good to pass up!
11. Until You Can’t by Brittney Sahin
Oh look at that, another “brothers ex” romance… we did say we couldn’t get enough of these. Until You Can’t features Navy SEAL Ryan Rossi who has spent years vying after his brothers ex-fiance Natalia. The slow-burn between these two is hot and heavy and the chemistry just bleeds off the pages. The sexual tension and banter keeps you wanting so much more.
12. Thorne Princess by L.J Shen
Personal bodyguard? Check. Sexual tension? Check. Undeniable steam, billowing from the pages? Double check. The heat between Hallie Thorne and Ransom Lockewood was just too good and went by too fast! We’re seriously begging for some more. There is so much depth to each character and uncovering their darknesses is one of the reasons why L.J is a top tier writer. If you’ve read any of L.J’s past novels and fell in love with the brooding, devilish male leads, then you’ll want to jump right into this novel ASAP. Ransom is just what we all love in an enemies to lovers novel, a true misunderstood A-hole. Pick up Thorne Princess to experience captivating characters and desire-filled pages.
That wraps up everything we read this January! Let us know down below what you read this month and what we should check out next! There are so many new titles on the way and we cannot wait to fall in love with every new heroine and hero out there.
